True Blood star, 34, and the actress, 28, started dating when shooting a remake of 1971's
Straw Dogs in October 2009. April 2010, they were seen enjoying each other's company at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, all the while keeping mum about their relationship status.
In February 2010, Kate said about Alexander, "We are very good friends. He's a wonderful, wonderful man, I adore him." When pressed for more details, she replied, "That's a minefield, man! I'm not stepping into that. I've learned too well from being on that road."
Alexander said in a 2009 interview about finding Mrs. Right, "A sense of humour is No. 1, for sure. Being funny and smart is very important." Ladies, take notes...
