Fangtastic news everyone, Alexande
r Skarsgård will be the new face of Calvin Klein. Very little details are known, only that the Swedish überhunk is not going to strip down to his underwear since it'll be a perfume deal (Why Alexander? Why?). The photos were shot a couple of months ago. The campaign will be released these coming days, right on time for the premiere of True Blood's fifth season, where we can see Alexander as vampire Eric Northman.

This isn't Alexander's first fashion campaign. Two years ago the actor, 35, was the face of suitmaker Hickey Freeman. The photos for this campaign were shot by Annie Leibovitz.
UPDATE: The campaign photo was released. Besides Alexander, we can also see supermodel Lara Stone in the shot.
