Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song are no longer engaged. Trace, 23, released a statement that said, "Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways. We split up a couple of months ago. We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation."

The former lead singer of Metro Station, who now performs under the name Ashland High, and the actress, 24, got engaged last October. They announced their engagement right after
pregnancy rumours broke. In January Trace said that the couple had not set a wedding date yet and were planning on being engaged for a while. The tattood rock artist, who recently
shaved his head in order to make room for more tattoos, and the Disney actress, who recently appeared in
The Social Network, wanted to focus on their careers first.
News of the couple's split breaks a mere week after sister Miley Cyrus
announced her engagement to Liam Hemsworth.
