Ids Postma and Anni Friesinger welcomed a daughter into their family. The former speed skaters named their baby girl Josephine. According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf Anni, 37, gave birth via C-section in a hospital in Meppen, Germany. Due to the medical procedure, Anni will remain in the hospital for observation for the next couple of days.

Ids and Anni wed in 2009 in Salzburg, Austria, and in 2010 in Dearsum, Friesland, the Netherlands. Dearsum is a small village, where they live on a farm.Josephine is their first child, Anni announced last month, that they were expecting a girl.
