David Beckham reveals new 'Harper' tattoo

David Beckham © Splash News
Of course, when LA Galaxy beat FC Dallas 3-1 the shirts had to come off and when David Beckham took off his shirt he showed the world his newest piece of art: the name of his youngest child, daughter Harper, inked on his chest in fancy font.

The Harper tattoo sits right above David's tattoo of Jesus being carried by three cherubs. The cherubs symbolise sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6 1/2. David has said of that tattoo, "It's Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that's what they're doing in the picture. It means a lot." Tattoo king Mark Mahoney, who also tattood Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, did that tattoo. It's unclear who inked Harper on his skin, but it's not unlikely that it was Mark who etched the lasting impression on David's skin.

David also has tattoos of his sons' names, wife Victoria's name in Hindi and a tattoo that depicts Victoria as an angel accompanied by the words, "til death do us part."

David Beckham would love to add one more baby to his brood

David Beckham with Harper Seven
Little Harper Seven Beckham is only two weeks old, but David Beckham has already made known that he and Victoria would love to have a fifth child.

David, 36, told the Associated Press, "We'd love one more. We've always said we'd love a big family and five was a number. If we're lucky enough, then we hope to have one more." Harper Seven has three older brothers, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo 8 1/2, and Cruz, 6 1/2.

David and Victoria, 37, welcomed their daughter into their family on July 10th and the proud father says that Harper's older brothers are completely smitten with her. "All the boys won't leave her alone, which is amazing." David adds, "It's different having a little girl. She's elegant."

David Beckham's bodywear collection to be available at H&M

David Beckham will release a line of 'bodywear'. The football superstar is collaborating with Swedish store H&M to bring the collection on the market February 2nd, 2012.

David has been working on his collection in his freetime - football player, dad to three boys and a newborn baby girl, and allround superstar. I wonder if he has any free time at all - a deal with H&M solidified his line of bodywear and the collection will be sold in over 1,800 stores.

David says to WWD, "Over the past year, I've been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I'm extremely positive about what we have designed and produced. The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward."

I haven't got the faintest idea what 'bodywear' really is - underwear? Tight shirts? Fashion in general? - but I'm sure that lots of men will wear it, if only because there girlfriend by it en masse!

David and Victoria Beckham have received so many gifts, that they are giving items to charity.

Where most people struggle to get and find all baby stuff they need, not David and Victoria Beckham. The power couple gets sent a lot of baby items by companies eager to have the Beckhams photographed with their baby girl and their product. According to the Daily Mail the Beckhams have come up with a good solution for their, reportedly, 14 push chairs and other freebies: they donate them to charity.

A friend of the couple said to the Daily Mail, "David and Victoria have a policy that they don't accept gifts and endeavour to return anything that is sent to them. If anyone contacts the office in Los Angeles, they're told that - but often they send things anyway or they send presents without a return address." The friend adds, "Since Victoria's pregnancy was announced in January, they have been inundated. They were sent something like a dozen pushchairs. Working out who had sent it and sending it back would have been a full-time job, so it's easier to give it away. Some items have been returned and some have been boxed up and given to charity. There are going to be some very lucky families in Los Angeles over the next few weeks, who have no idea they are using pushchairs intended for the Beckhams."

Reportedly, the family was sent an iCandy Peach stroller and matching carrycot in a custom-made shade of purple, after Victoria had mentioned that she couldn't find a pushchair in the colour she liked. Worth? At least £800. They also received a £819 special-edition Bugaboo Cameleon, also used by Elton John and David Furnish for their son Zachary, and Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr for their son Flynn. There's more though, a £549 Uppababy Vista, used by Sarah Jessica Parker, a £479 Bubaboo Bee Plus, and an £460 Orbit Stroller, only available in the US and used by Adam Sandler for his daughters.

Victoria was quoted as saying last December about the freebies, "Oh my goodness, yeah. We get sent lots of products and clothes. I'm never going to become blasé about that. I really appreciate that someone has gone to the effort to send me things." However, that doesn't mean that they're keeping them. A spokeswoman of the couple recently said, "We try to discourage companies. However, we do receive a lot of unsolicited goods which are sent to deserving charities."

Harper Seven Beckham boosts sales of Harper Lee's 'To Kill A Mockingbird'

Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird
After David Beckham announced on his Facebook page that his baby girl, Harper Seven, was named after To Kill A Mockingbird novelist Harper Lee, sales of the book have gone through the roof.

Sales of Harper Lee's famed book have increased with a whopping 123 percent, causing the book to rise to number 38 in the Bestseller List.

Some people are surprised as to Harper Lee being Victoria's favourite author. Apparently there's still a widespread idea that Victoria doesn't read any books. According to the Daily Mail Victoria said in an interview six years ago, that she does read, however, she rarely has the time to finish a book due to her busy schedule, making To Kill A Mockingbird a happy exception to the rule.

She's only one week old , but she has already made her Twitter debut. Victoria Beckham tweeted a photo of little Harper Seven with her daddy, David Beckham. Victoria tweeted, "daddy's little girl". David then returned the favour and tweeted a photo of Victoria with their little girl. He said, "I took this picture of my two girls sleeping..."

David also tweeted a photo of his new kicks. He tweeted, "Check out my boots for the Real Madrid match. A little extra stitching needed from now on...." LA Galaxy lost from Real Madrid 4-1, but that won't ruin David's spirit. Earlier this week he confirmed that Harper was, indeed, inspired by To Kill A Mockingbird author Harper Lee, Victoria's favourite writer. David posted on his Facebook page, "A lot of thought goes into our children's names and Harper was a name that we've loved for a long time for a couple of reasons. One reason is Harper's an old English name which we loved and one of the other reasons was Victoria's favourite book is To Kill A Mockingbird an the author was Harper Lee. It's a very strong, passionate book. That's where Harper came from."
