It's a princess for Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge

Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge welcomed a daughter into their family on June 21st in Nashville. Baby girl was 22 inches/ 56 cm long and weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz./ 3,5 kg at her 1 a.m. arrival. The couple named their daughter Dixie Pearl.

A rep for Kings of Leon told People Magazine, "Mom, dad and baby are happy, healthy and enjoying their new addition." Lily, 26, tweeted, "Thank you everyone for all the sweet words! We are so in love with our darlin Dixie Pearl :) much love to everyone xoxo".

Caleb, 30, and Lily, 26, were wed in Santa Barbara in May 2011. Caleb isn't the first band member to add to the Kings of Leon family. His cousin Matthew Followill has a son, Knox Cameron Patrick, who's 13 months old.

Jillian Michaels is a mom x2!

Yesterday I wrote about Jillian Michaels' daughter, but now there's more news! The former The Biggest Loser trainer did not only adopt a 2-year old daughter from Haiti. Jillian's girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, has given birth to a son too! So now Jillian is a mom to toddler Lukensia and son Phoenix.

Jillian told People Magazine about her two year journey to adopt from Haiti and that Heidi gave birth to baby boy Phoenix the same week that she was able to bring Lukensia home. "We're swimming in babies over here." The family went from two to four in a matter of a week, but it's been great, "I don't even answer email. I don't have time to care about anything else. I want to be really present and enjoy all the nuances of their growth and development. I don't want to rush any of it."

Jillian Michaels has talked about the waiting game that is an adoption procedure before. Last year, she quit working on The Biggest Loser in order to focus on motherhood. In May 2011, she said, "The paperwork is done, and now it's just a waiting game. It could be six months, twelve months; it could be two years. Or it could be tomorrow!" Then last January she was matched to a child, "I've been matched with a little girl. I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her." And now Jillian has picked up her daughter and has given her a home. Yesterday, the fitness trainer, 38, was spotted out and about with her daughter for the first time. The adorable little girl, whose name hasn't been released, can be seen being kissed and cuddled by Jillian, as well as exploring Malibu. Cute!

Meet India Rose Hemsworth!

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky welcomed their first child, a daughter, last Friday. It must have been smooth sailing for Elsa, because today, the brand new parents were seen out and about with their baby girl India Rose for the first time.

Granted, India is kept under wraps, but it is a great family photo nonetheless (look at their smiles! The way Chris cradles his newborn!).

It's a girl for Simon Helberg!

Simon Helberg is a dad! He and his wife, Jocelyn Towne, welcomed a daugther to the world on Tuesday, May 8th. The couple named their baby girl Adeline.

This is the first child for the couple. The actor, known for his role of Howard Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory, and his wife were aiming for a natural birth.

Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl reveal daughter's name

Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley recently adopted a second child. The adoption of a baby girl was confirmed, but further details were kept under wraps. That is, until now, Katherine revealed to People Magazine that they named their daughter Adalaide Marie Hope.

Little Adalaide joins big sister Naleigh, 3½. Whereas Naleigh was adopted from South-Korea, newborn Adalaide came to the Heigl-Kelley family through domestic adoption. 


On Mother's Day the family of four was spotted out and about. Josh, 32, tweeted, "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY !!!! What cha got planned for today. Hope you dudes out there take care of your ladies. No skimping..." He then tweeted a photo of the breakfast he prepared for Katherine, 33, and I must say, it looked delicious.

It's a girl for Chris Hemsworth!

Chris Hemsworth is getting ready for diaper duty. The actor, 28, and wife Elsa Pataky welcomed a daughter on Friday. The couple named their first born India Rose. Chris told USA Today, "We love the country and love the name."

Aussie Chris, known for his roles in Thor, The Avengers and Snow White and the Huntsman, and Elsa tied the knot in 2010. Elsa, known for her role in Fast Five, is originally from Spain. The actress, 35, said after announcing her pregnancy that Chris better brush up his Spanish, because "I'm only going to speak to the baby in Spanish. I already told my husband, 'Get ready fast with Spanish, because, if not, you're not going to be able to understand what we say."

J.R. Martinez is a dad!

J.R. Martinez and girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones are on cloud nine. Wednesday evening, May 2nd, they welcomed their daughter Lauryn Anabelle into the world in L.A. J.R., 28, told People Magazine, "She's already got a nickname, Belle. She has a couple of cute little freckles on her cheeks, a full head of hair and the cutest little lips." Baby girl Belle weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz/ 3,5 kilo's and was 21 inches/53 cm long. "It's just amazing to see her, finally."

J.R., an Iraq war veteran and the season 13 winner of Dancing with the Stars met Diana in 2008, when he landed a role on All My Children. They announced the pending arrival of Belle in December.

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard welcome baby girl no. 2

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have welcomed a daughter on Thursday, April 19th, in New York City. Their little girl was named Gloria Ray. Baby girl Gloria joins big sister Ramona, 5.

Maggie, 34, announced the pregnancy when she was three and a half monts along in her pregnancy. Maggie's first appearance on the silver screen is Won't Back Down. Peter, 41, will star in Lovelace.

Nicolette Kluijver is expecting a baby girl!

Nicolette Kluijver and Joost Staudt's first child will be a daughter. The BNN presenter and model announced the news via Twitter (translated) "We just heard that we're having a girl! Everything is going well and she's growing fast! What great news!"

Nicolette announced her pregnancy last month.

It's a girl for Bruce Willis and Emma Heming-Willis

Bruce Willis is seeing pink! The rep of the actor, known for his roles in Die Hard and RED, confirmed the news that Bruce and wife Emma welcomed a baby girl on Sunday in Los Angeles. Bruce, 57, and Emma, 33, "are overjoyed about the newest member of their family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully." Their new bundle of joy was given the name Mabel Ray Willis. She weighed in at 9 lbs., 1 oz/ 4.11 kilos. 

This is the first child for Bruce and Emma, who were married three years ago. However, this is Bruce's fourth daughter. He has three daughters with his ex-wife Demi Moore: Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 18.

Afrojack is a dad!

Dutch DJ Afrojack (real name: Nick van de Wall) is a dad. His ex-girlfriend Amanda Balk announced the birth of their daughter today. Vegas was born via c-section Friday evening at 23.55/11.55 pm. The baby girl weighed in at 3322 grams/7.32 lbs. Amanda, 24, wrote on her Facebook page that she's extremely happy, that mom and baby are doing well and that they're enjoying each other to the max. The new father, 24, wasn't by his ex's side during the procedure. He is currently in Israel.

Update 20/03/2012: Nick has commented on the birth of his daughter via Twitter and it seems that he only was informed recently of her arrival. He wrote "Just landed in Miami and got great news! It doesn't matter what anyone says or what has happened, I love you Vegas and everything will be okay." He replied to congratulatory tweets and said that he hoped that he'd be able to see Vegas soon.

Saturdays singer Una Healy and her professional rugby player fiancé Ben Foden became parents of a daughter today. The baby weighed in at 7lbs 13oz and she was given the name Aoife Belle Foden. Aoife is a traditional Irish name meaning 'beauty'. The middle name 'Belle' is derived from Ben's mother's name 'Bell' and is French for 'beautiful'.

Ben broke the news himself by writing on his Twitter page: "I am officially a Dad!!!!!! Una an baby are both amazing and healthy!!!! So proud of them both! #babybenuna"

Jessica Simpon and fiancé Eric Johnson's baby on the way is a little girl! Jessica told Elle Magazine about her fears, "I swear, I will croak is she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins! Eric is so athletic. We're gonna have this athletic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping, 'cause all she's gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!"

Perhaps she'd better put those worries on the back burner and prepare for the delivery, since her ob/gyn thinks that 5 ft. 2.5/ 1.59 m. Jessica will be delivering a 10 lb./ 4,5 kg baby girl. Jess is hoping for a lighter one, saying, "I was only six pounds. So maybe Eric and I can meet in the middle."

On a more joyful note, Jess and Eric have already chosen a name for their daughter. She doesn't reveal it, but says it nontraditional. "It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it, they'll know ... why." So let the guessing game begin! What do you think could their daughter's name be? Jesic? Ersica? Lemon Verbena?

Melanie Brown: Introducing baby Madison

Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte have introduced their newborn daughter Madison to the world. Former Spice Girl Mel B said in an interview with Hello Magazine that motherhood is different this time around, she is grateful for him being a supportive partner and says that she feels as if she's "finally doing it right."

Daughter Madison is the first child for the couple. Melanie is already a mom to daughters Phoenix, 12, and Angel, 4. Phoenix's dad is Melanie first husband, dancer Jimmy Gulzar. Eddie Murphy is Angel's father. Stephen has a 7-year old daughter, Giselle, from a previous relationship.

Mary McCormack and her husband Michael Morris have welcomed their third daughter on Saturday morning, September 10th. The In Plain Sight actress, 42, and her spouse haven't announced the name of their newest addition. The baby girl joins older sisters Margaret, 7, and Rose, 4.

Ashton Shepherd welcomes a daughter

Ashton Shepherd and her husband Roland Cunningham have added a baby girl to their brood. The country singer gave birth to their daughter on Friday, September 9th, in Demopolis, Alabama. She measured 7 lbs., 7 oz. and was 19 inches long. Ashton, 25, and Roland named her Raden Delilah.

Ashton announced her pregnancy in March of this year. Raden joins big brother James, 5.

Sarah Connor is a mom x3!

German singer and X Factor judge Sarah Connor gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Sunday, September 4th. This is the first child for Sarah, 31, and her fiancé Florian Fischer, 36. The couple hasn't announced the name of their daughter yet.

The singer/presenter has two children, 7-year old son Tyler Marc and 5-year old daughter Summer Antonia Soraya, from her first marriage to Marc Terenzi.

Sarah will be back on German TV in October, when the live shows of the German X Factor will start.

Melanie Brown has a girl!

Yesterday evening Spice Girl Mel B - real name Melanie Brown - was admitted to the hospital and she gave birth to her third daughte rin the early hours of September 2nd. This is the first child for Melanie and her husband Stephen Belafonte, but the fourth daughter in their family. Melanie is already mom to two daughters, 12-year old Phoenix Chi, from her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and 4-year old Angel, from her relationship with Eddy Murphy. Stephen has a 7-year old daughter, Giselle.

Melanie took to Twitter mere hours after her baby girl was born. She tweeted, "Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!" Her former Spice Girls bandmates were quick to tweet their congrats. Emma Bunton tweeted, "Yeah!!! Well done Mummy! Lots of love. Xxx" Melanie Chrisholm - Mel C - wrote, "So so happy for my dear friend @OfficialMelB and @stephenthinks1 another girl #girlpower woo hoo! Congratulations x x x"

First she wrote, "I wanna thank you ALL for your beautiful well wishes, it means a lot to me, you guys are the best, I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!" and "I didn't think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey, we have a truly amazing family xxxx"

The news of the birth of Melanie and Stephen's daughter - name, weight and height currently unknown - comes after Melanie said that "I've tried everything, I've tried the hot food, the running, the sex, the violence, I've tried it all. It just seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it's coming out this week for sure." That most certainly turned out to be true.

Dan Karaty and wife Natasha welcome a baby girl

Choreographer Dan Karaty is a dad!

Natasha, the wife of the 34-year old Holland's Got Talent judge, gave birth to a daughter on Tuesday evening. Dan had flown back to the US on Friday, to be there for the birth of their first child. The new parents live in the Netherlands, where Dan is a talent show judge. However, they did want for their child to be born in their homecountry, so Natasha had gone home earlier in the pregnancy. Dan has said in the past, that when the family remains in the Netherlands, they're planning on raising their daughter bilingual.

Further details (name & weight) are currently unknown.

UPDATE: On Friday September 2nd, Dan announced to the world - in a live show of Holland's Got Talent - that he and Natasha have named their daughter Quinn Vanessa.
