Alexander Skarsgård to be the new face of Calvin Klein perfume

Fangtastic news everyone, Alexander Skarsgård will be the new face of Calvin Klein. Very little details are known, only that the Swedish überhunk is not going to strip down to his underwear since it'll be a perfume deal (Why Alexander? Why?). The photos were shot a couple of months ago. The campaign will be released these coming days, right on time for the premiere of True Blood's fifth season, where we can see Alexander as vampire Eric Northman.

This isn't Alexander's first fashion campaign. Two years ago the actor, 35, was the face of suitmaker Hickey Freeman. The photos for this campaign were shot by Annie Leibovitz. 


UPDATE: The campaign photo was released. Besides Alexander, we can also see supermodel Lara Stone in the shot.

LeAnn Rimes can now add swimsuit model to her resume. The 28-year old singer & actress models bikinis for Mikoh Swimwear. The photos can be seen on the Mikoh website, LeAnn also opens up about family and her relationship with husband Eddie Cibrian.

"I have been blessed to have experienced so much in my short lifetime." Regarding her marriage to Eddie, she says, "You can accomplish everything you want in life, but without anyone to share it with, what's it really worth?" Planning for their future is challenging, because "our lives change daily. I plan on music, film, family... Mostly family at some point." LeAnn is enjoying life as a 'bonus mom' to Eddie's two sons with ex-wife Brandi Glanville. "I love seeing my 'bonus boys' and my husband running around in total privacy and me taking photos. I love being with them in our little private cove. It's pure heaven!"

Eight 'real' models had the day of their lives, when they arrived at a New York City studio for a photo shoot for O, The Oprah Magazine  and found out that creative director Adam Glassman had arranged for a styling session and photo shoot with the one and only Jennifer Lopez. The photo shoot, featuring clothes from Jennifer's soon-to-be-available collection for Kohl's, will be published in the September issue of O.

Adam Glassman tells People Magazine, “O is often the go-to magazine for lines that want to do an exclusive first look. It’s so great to have her teach women how to get a kind of everyday glamour like hers." Jennifer designed the collection with one thing in the back of her mind, "I'm a mom. I work. I want comfort. But I want to feel sexy and modern. I think most women want the same things." The photoshoot was a wonderful experience for Jennifer, "This is the fulfilling part, to have women tell me 'This is so comfortable, it fits so well.'"

It's still in the midst of summer, but Victoria's Secret has already released photos of Victoria's Angel Candice Swanepoel in Halloween costumes. Well, costumes... Halloween underwear. The 22-year old South-African model is photographed in some very sexy outfits for the lingerie line's new Halloween collection, from sexy sailor, to devil, to sexy santa, it all looks fabulous on Candice.

Candice, who recently was under heavy scrutiny for having dropped a significant amount of weight, also confirms that she's back to her old weight. Candice herself has always insisted that she's healthy, despite her size and the lost pounds. In an interview with ABC News during New York Fashion week this year, she said, "Actually, this year my problem has been more putting on weight and getting muscle on, becuase it's been really busy. I've been travelling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I'm very busy." Luckily, these shots show that she's no longer as skinny as she was three months ago, when she looked like a shadow of her former self.

Candice was discovered at age 15 at a Durban flea market and has since appeared on the covers of Vogue and Elle, and has featured in campaigns for Diesel, Nike and Guess. She's also a runway model and besides Victoria's Secret she has also walked shows for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbanna, and Diane von Furstenberg. Candice has been a Victoria's Angel since April 2010.

Will Amy Winehouse designs for Fred Perry be released?

There's talk of a posthumous album, because Amy was working off and on on songs for the past three years. However, something that definitely is ready is Amy's fashion line for Fred Perry.

Amy had a successful collaboration with British label Fred Perry and she told Harper's Bazaar last year, that she had already completed work on future collections up until the autumn/winter 2012 season.

The label released a statement today, "We had a great working and personal relationship with Amy during the design and development of the collaboration. Amy's unique sense of style and attitude pervaded the entire collection. She was a pleasure to work with and will be deeply missed by the entire Fred Perry team." A spokesperson did not confirm if future collections of Amy will make it to the highstreet, merely saying that the company will abide the wishes of Amy's family.


Amy's first range, launched in October 2010, clearly showed her love of the Fifties and referenced her personal, signature style. It featured herringbone miniskirts, tight-fitting polo shirts, gingham skinny trousers and deck-style loafers. When the collaboration was announced, Fred Perry's marketing director Richard Martin said, "She has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand's own historical reference points." Julia Roberts' Lancome ad banned in the UK

A Lancome advertisement starring Julia Roberts has been banned in the United Kingdom after a politician started a discussion about the amount of airbrushing and excessive use of photoshop of the ad.

In the photo Julia, 44, has skin so smooth as a newborn baby. Jo Swinson, Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament, complained saying that the ad gave a "false impression of beauty," due to the amount of airbrushing. The ad is for Lancome's Teint Miracle, and Julia's digitally altered flawless skin gives the impression that it's due to that product - instead of Photoshop. The Advertising Standards Authority has now pulled the ads in the UK, after branding the ad misleading. 

Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic are husband and wife

Hit model Anja Rubik has married Sasha Knezevic. The Polish beauty and her husband, also a successful model, tied the knot in Deia on the Spanish island Majorca (Spanish: Mallorca). Sasha reportedly asked his now-wife to marry him over Christmas, in his hometown of Vienna. The newlyweds will honeymoon before the fittings and preparations of the spring/summer 2012 shows kick off, meaning that they'll honeymoon before this September.

The bride, 26, wore a custom-made dress designed by Peter Dundas, a close friend of the couple and also the creative director of Pucci. A lacy, bolero-style adornment was sewn into her strapless dress, to cover her shoulders. The silk, mullet-hem skirt showed off Anja's bronzed legs, the reason she's the current 'world's most in-demand model'. Peter Dundas attended the wedding as well, other guests were Maryna Linchuk and her boyfriend Salvatore Morale.

Natalie Portman's fiancé Benjamin Millepied is the face - and body - of Yves Saint Laurent's L'Homme Libre fragrance. Benjamin, 34, is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. YSL campaign photographer Patrick Demarchelier was able to capture Benjamin's graceful poses perfectly.

Renaud de Lesquen, President of YSL Beauté, said of the ballet dancer and choreographer, "Benjamin's unique style, his creative freedom, the positive energy he exudes and his dazzling charm won all our votes." Benjamin has said that he's "happy and proud" to be chosen to feature in the ad campaign. He described Yves Saint Laurent as "one of the world's most prestigious brands." In a statment he also praises the late designer himself, saying that Monsieur Saint Laurent was "a fashion genius, a lover of the Arts, he also knew how to use his talent to serve the art of dancing."

The advertising campaign for Calvin Klein's new lingerie and loungewear line 'Naked Glamour' have just been revealed. Dutch model Lara Stone has posed for the sexy ads. The 27-year old beauty was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for the campaign. Naked Glamour promises to make women "look even sexier than when naked". The collection mixes luxury with wearability, meaning t-shirt bras and lace shorts.

The wife of British comedian David Walliams has been a Calvin Klein go-to model for four years. She made her debut in the spring/summer 2007 catwalk show. For the 2011 spring/summer shows she was booked for campaigns by Prada and Tom Ford. Furthermore, she was ranked the no. 1 female fashion model by models.com.

Kristin Cavallari struts her stuff on the catwalk, modelling a glass bikini

Kristin Cavallari showed off her bikini body at the opening night of the Mercedes Benz fashion week. The former Laguna Beach and Hills reality star walked the runway in a Diesel bikini made with glass.

Kristin, tells People Magazine at the Raleigh Hotel, in Miami Beach, where she strutted her stuff, that she was really nervous about walking the catwalk in a bikini. She spent weeks in the gym, preparing for this night. "This is the first time I have ever walked a runway in a bathing suit. The glass sort of cut into my skin, and I was really nervous.

 The one shoulder, cobalt blue bikini was designed by Diesel and inspired by SKYY vodka's blue bottle.
