Nicolette Kluijver and Joost Staudt are husband and wife. The BNN presenter and the plastic surgeon tied the knot in Amsterdam on Tuesday. Nicolette is pregnant with the couple's first child and in the Coen & Sander show she said that it was handiest to do the 'whole shebang' in one go. The couple decided to have an Amsterdam wedding, because Nicolette is eight months along now (with a girl!). After the ceremony the couple and their guests went boating. Even though the wedding festivities were kept small it was "a beautiful day" and "I wore a really gorgeous dress."

Nicolette will from now on be professionally known as Nicolette Staudt-Kluijver.

Avril Lavigne engaged to Chad Kroeger!

Their six-month relationship played out largely under the radar, but now Nickelback's frontman Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne want to shout it from the rooftops: they are getting married!

The Canadian rockers met in February, when Chad and Avril first got together to write a song for her upcoming studio album. Chad, 37, and Avril, 27, fell hard, because on August 8th, Chad presented the Canadian songstress with a 14-carat diamond ring.

This will be the first marriage for Chad. Avril was previously married to Sum 31's Deryck Whibley, they divorced in 2009.

UPDATE: People Magazine has gotten their hands on a photo of Avril and Chad together. The photo also gives plenty of opportunity to admire Avril's 14-carat, pear-shaped engagement ring!

Aaron Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood wed

Aaron Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood are husband and wife. The newlyweds met on set of Nowhere Boy, where Sam, 45, was the director and Aaron, 22, played the lead character. Aaron got down on one knee in October 2009, they were married on Thursday in Somerset, England. Sam wore a wedding gown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Aaron wore a suit by Tom Ford. They will both take on the surname Taylor-Johnson.

This is the second marriage for Sam, who has daughters Angelica, born in 1997, and Jessie, born in 2006, from her previous marriage. The newlyweds are parents too daughters Wylda Rae, 2, and Romy Hero, 5 months.

Aaron has said of the 23-year age gap, "I'm an old soul and she's a young soul. We don't see an age gap, we just see each other."

Bobby Brown and Alicia Etheredge tie the knot!

Bobby Brown and Alica Etheredge are husband and wife. The newlyweds tied the knot on Monday. Bobby Jr. shared a photo of the happy couple with their 3-year old son Cassius, who served as a ring bearer, and four flower girls. The photo shows the matching outfits of the groom and the ringbearer: both in red suits and Adidas sneakers.

Many family members and friends were present at the wedding. Bobby was surrounded by his children, Landon, 23, La'Princia, 22, Bobby Jr., 19 and Cassius, 3. Bobbi Kristina, Bobby's daughter with Whitney Houston was not present at the celebration.

Bobby asked Alicia to marry him during a sold-out New Edition concert in Jacksonville, Florida. Bobby has said that Alicia has given him a new lease on life, after his 2007 divorce from Whitney Houston. He said in a People Magazine interview in 2011 of his wife, who's also his manager, "I got my passion back for music and for loving myself because of her."

Yesterday evening Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves tied the knot in a private ceremony in Texas. The newlyweds have remained mum on the topic of a wedding date, since their Christmas Day engagement. A large number of guests didn't know that they were invited to a wedding ceremony. 


The actor, 42, and the Brazilian model, 29, have two kids together, Levi, 4 next month, and Vida, 2½. The couple's wedding will feature in next week's issue of People Magazine. Little details are known, only that Camila will take the name of her husband and will officially become Camila McConaughey.

Ashley Biden and Howard Krein tie the knot

Ashley Biden, daughter of Vice President of the United States of America Joe Biden, wed Philadelphia surgeon Howard Krein on Saturday. The couple tied the knot at the St. Joseph on the Brandywine Roman Catholic Church in Greenville, the same church where Ashley was baptized. The wedding ceremony combined Catholic (Ashley) and Jewish (Howard) traditions.

Joe Biden walked his daughter Ashley down the aisle on Saturday. The VP was very emotional about giving his youngest daughter away. He said to People Magazine, "I kept telling Ash, we've got to open up the church and practice walking up and down the aisle so I can handle it." The bride wore a dramatic mermaid gown with elaborate ruffles at the bottom, designed by Vera Wang.

The newlyweds, their family and friends celebrated the nuptials at the Biden's lakeside family home in Wilmington. The reception and family-style dinner were attended by some 200 guests.

Ashley, 30, and Howard, 45, have been a couple since the summer of 2010, when they were introduced to each other by Ashley's older brother Beau. Howard proposed in October 2011, after getting permission from proud father Joe. The VP said, "This is the right guy. And he's getting a helluva woman."

The couple is now off on their honeymoon. The destination was kept a surprise from Ashley by Howard, until Saturday evening. They will make their home in Philadelphia.

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman wed

Will Kopelman and Drew Barrymore are husband and wife! The couple wed on Saturday at Drew's Montecito, California, home.

The newlyweds had an intimate ceremony that was "classic, simple, very pretty, garden-inspired". The wedding ceremony was organised by wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove, who also organised Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth's nuptials last March. A rabbi officiated the Jewish ceremony. Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Jim Toth, Jimmy Fallon and Busy Philips witnessed the couple tying the knot.

Drew, 37, wed in a Chanel gown. Not very surprising, since Will's father, Arie Kopelman, is a former Chanel CEO.

Actress Drew and art dealer Will are expecting their first child later this year. This is Drew's third marriage.

Kelsey and Kayte Grammer tie the knot. Again!

Kelsey and Kayte Grammer have renewed their vows. The again-newlyweds said their first I do's fifteen months ago in New York City's Longacre Theater. That February 25th, 2011 ceremony wasn't enough, because Kelsey's rep has confirmed the vow renewel to People Magazine.

Next month Kayte is due with the couple's first children. Yes, plural, Kayte is expecting twins. According to Kelsey this was the perfect time to get married again, because "I've always wanted shot-gun wedding pictures so we can show the kids later on!"

The almost-parents renewed their vows in the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas. Kelsey donned a Tom Ford suit and Kayte wore a custom-made Peter Langner baby-doll dress. Kelsey said, "Kayte's the most wonderful person in the world. We wanted to celebrate and rededicate [ourselves] to how much we love each other and to our growing family around the bend."

This is the fourth marriage of the actor, known for his roles on Cheers, Frasier, and Boss. His children with wife Kayte are to be his fifth and sixth. He was married to Doreen Alderman from 1982 to 1990. The former couple have one child together, daughter Spencer Grammer. Spencer gave Kelsey his first grandchild, almost 18-month old Emmett Emmanuel Hesketh. His relationship with hair and make up stylist Barrie Buckner resulted in daughter Kandace Greer. His second marriage was to Leigh-Anne Csuhany. The couple married in 1992. The marriage lasted for only one year. In 1997 he married Camille Donatacci. They have two children together, daughter Mason Olivia and son Jude Gordon. Camille filed for divorce July 1st, 2010.

After a three year engagement Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni are now wife & wife. Cynthia's rep told People Magazine, "On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera." No further details regarding the wedding were released.

The Sex and the City actress (we all know her as Miranda) and the education activist have been dating since 2004. In 2007 Cynthia, 46, and Christine, 45, got engaged at a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York. In February 2011 Christine gave birth to the couple's son Max Ellington.

This is Cynthia's second marriage. She has two children from her marriage to photographer Danny Mozes, 15-year old Samantha and 10-year old Charles Ezekiel.

UPDATE May 29th, 2012: The newlyweds have released their official wedding photo. Cynthia's wedding dress was a pale green Carolina Herrara gown. She had a bouquet of white peonies. Christine wore a suit with a green tie, a few shades darker than Cynthia's dress.

Mark Zuckerberg gets hitched

Mark Zuckerberg changed his relationsip status. The Facebook CEO married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan yesterday.

Mark, 28, and Priscilla were married in a small, backyard ceremony in Palo Alto, California. The wedding was attended by less than 100 guests, who initially thought they were attending a surprise party for Priscilla's graduation from UCSF medical school. She graduated with a degree in pediatrics on May 14th. She knew all about the party, because the couple had been planning the wedding ceremony for more than four months. At the family-style dinner guests were served food from the couple's favourite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi. Burdick Chocolate mice were served as a dessert, the newlyweds had eaten the mouse-shaped chocolate treats on their first date.

Mark and Priscilla met at Harvard, before Mark had started Facebook (that went public on Friday). The couple have been dating for nine years.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are all smiles and laughter and they've got a great reason: last week the couple renewed their vows. LeAnn, 29, and Eddie, 38, married last year on April 22nd and celebrated their one year anniversary with a romantic lunch. The couple married again last Friday, the singer tweeted "Renewed our vows today.... it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife. Here's to another great year!" Earlier today she tweeted a photo of the event, "Thought I'd share a few smiles and a special moment."

Josh Lucas is officially off the market. The actor (known for The Firm, A Beautiful Mind and playing Reese Witherspoon's husband in Sweet Home Alabama) wed Jessica Ciencin Henriquez Saturday, March 17th. The wedding took place at the Conservatory Garden in New York City's Central Park. Josh wore a blue suit and Jessica a beautiful gown with lace overlay.

Josh and Jessica, a writer, will welcome their first child later this year.

It's official! Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry are engaged!

After being spotted wearing an emeral ring, it was soon rumoured that Olivier Martinez had proposed to Halle Berry. Now, Olivier has finally confirmed the news. He told the Miami Herald, whilst promoting his new restaurant Villa Azur, "Yes, of course it's true."

Contrary to rumours, the ring was designed by Parisian jeweller, Robert Mazloum from the jewellery house 'Mazlo'. Olivier called him "a real artist", who has designed and made jewellery for "kings and queens for many centuries."

Halle, 45, and Olivier, 46, started dating after starring together in the 2010 movie "Dark Tide." This will be Olivier's first marriage and Halle's third, she has almost 4-year old daughter Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

David Rogers and Sally Pressman are husband and wife. Cougar Town actor David and Army Wives actress Sally were married on Saturday evening at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California.

The ceremony featured more than just stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The bride wore jewelry by Turkish, family-owned company Gilan. What her wedding gown looked like is still under wraps.

Sally, 30, and David, 34, met at Lesly Kahn's acting class. David proposed last October at Anderson's Studio in Los Angeles.

Justin Bieber wants to marry and have babies. When he's 25.

Justin Bieber wants to get married and start a family. Not this very instant, but when asked by Women's Wear Daily where he sees himself in five years, the 17-year old added a couple more years and said, "Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family. I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do – to be successful, to do a movie or whatever."

Could his future wife be his current leading lady, Selena Gomez? Justin calls her "amazing" and confirms that "she's my girlfriend right now." However, all Bieber fever struck fans don't need to start making plans to crash their wedding just yet, because, "I'm not looking to get married now.."

Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart have tied the knot. The TV handyman, 35, and the actress, also 35, wed in Carter's hometown of Traverse City, Michigan. The couple had invited about 200 guests for their 'rustic' ceremony. 

There's little information (none) on Amy's wedding gown, but she sparkled down the aisle wearing 6-carat diamond and platinum chandelier earrings, as well as a diamond and platinum bracelet, both from Neil Lane.

Carter and Amy were first spotted out together in January, they confirmed their engagement in April. They announced their wedding date at the end of July, and recently Amy talked about planning a wedding in little time. Seems like the couple did a wonderful job!

Dutch radio dj Sander Lantinga and his girlfriend Tessel van der Lugt have tied the knot. The couple's wedding started on Friday afternoon and the newlyweds and their guests partied until Sunday evening. Sander, 34, said that he had to wipe away a few tears, when he first saw Tessel, 26, in her white halter wedding gown, "she is the most beautiful woman I've seen in my life." The couple wanted to celebrate with their loved ones and break with tradition. Therefore, Sander wore a silver suit, white t-shirt and white sneakers, when saying "I do."

Randy Houser and Jessa Lee Yantz tie the knot

Randy Houser and Jessa Lee Yantz are husband and wife! The couple, who announced their engagement in July, were married in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on Friday. Randy's rep tells People Magazine, that the couple were married before 20 guests by close friend Rob Hatch. Randy, 34, and Jessa, 29, exchanged their self-written vows in a sunset ceremony.

David Lauren and Lauren Bush wed

David Lauren and Lauren Bush are husband and wife. The son of Ralph Lauren and the granddaughter of former president George H.W.  Bush and niece of former president George W. Bush, who recently celebrated their upcoming nuptials in the Hamptons,  were married at the Double RL Ranch (RL stands Ralph and his wife Ricky Lauren) in Colorado. The ceremony took place on Sunday, but the entire weekend was centered around the wedding, with guests enjoying a picnic and softball game on the 17,000 acre Rocky Mountains estate. A post wedding rodeo is scheduled for today.

Among the 200 guests were former President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, as well as cousing Jenna and Barbara Bush. The groom's parents and sister Dylan's Candy Bar owner (and newlywed) Dylan Lauren and Ivanka Trump.The bride's grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, and grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, were unable to attend but sent a video message. In order to merge the fashion senses of both families the dress code was "black tie with a Western twist."

Lauren's parents, Neil and Sharon Bush, walked her down the aisle in a dress designed by her father-in-law.

Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed to marry October 1st

Seems like the wedding is on! Recently we all could see on tv how KISS bass player Gene Simmons proposed to his girlfriend of 28 years, Shannon Tweed. Shannon accepted, but revealed that the couple had relationship problems and that it was unsure if they really would get married. It now seems as if the counselling helped, since the couple have sent out wedding invites for their nuptials this October 1st in Beverly Hills. The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hills Hotel and guests are asked to wear "classy cocktail attire," however, the almost newlyweds know their guest, "we know some Rockstar attire will be worn."
