On Sunday, Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte celebrated the upcoming birth of their child with a baby shower. The celebration attracted a slew of celebrities, Kim Kardashian, Denise Richards with her daughters, Hank Baskett with Hank IV, Cheryl Burke and Brittny Gastineau were among the guests that celebrated poolside at the Belafonte-Brown L.A. home.

Guests were treated on Pink's Hot Dogs, tuna tartatre and drank Moët Ice on tap. DJ Lindsay Luv entertained the guests, spinning music. Melanie and Stephen had arranged for a bounce house movie theatre for the little ones and even hired private nannies to keep an eye on all the kids.

This is the first baby for Melanie and Stephen. Melanie already has two daughters from previous relationships. Phoenix Chi, 12, from her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, 4, from her relationship with Eddy Murphy. Stephen has a 7-year old daughter, Giselle. The couple don't know if they'll be adding a fourth girl to their brood, or if they'll welcome a boy into their family, and whereas her first two pregnancies were a breeze, the third is not so much. Melanie told WebMD magazine, "For the first four months I felt really sick, I was just trying to get through the day without actually throwing up. It was strange because with my last two pregnancies I never had morning sickness. So it was a bit shocking, to say the least." Luckily, the nausea phase is now over, causing Melanie to say, "I've been eating a lot. All day long. I don't stop. I eat when I want and what I want."

Melanie is making sure to enjoy her pregnancy. "I enjoy all the different phases. Sometimes it can get uncomfortable, when you're pregnant and you don't feel sexy because everything is swollen and a bit tender, but it's just about making the most of the situation that you're in. Being pregnant is a beautiful thing." Whether or not Melanie will be pregnant for mere days or weeks, she won't say, "I don't like to put dates out there, because there is so much pressure leading up to it, and then, if you're overdue, there's the whole stress of having to say you're five days overdue or you're a week overdue... and the can get really frightening." Known due date or not, a friend of Melanie says, "She's so ready to have this baby! She can't wait!"
