When former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky broke her femur whilst kickboxing last June, she probably didn't expect that it would influence her life that much. However, the former reality starlet is still recovering from surgery to her femur, that she had to undergo in July. The bride-to-be is determined to "walk down the aisle. I don't want to limp down the aisle."

She told People Magazine, "We had a date set, and that date has now passed. The decision to postpone [the wedding] was very difficult. I definitely shed some tears."

Ali, 26, and Roberto spent their would-be  wedding day together. "It was one of the best days we've had, just me and him." Regarding the nuptials, she says, "In my mind, Roberto is my husband. We live together; we do everything together; we plan for the future together; we fight just like a good old married couple. The only thing that's not saying "I'm married" is another ring on my finger and a piece of paper."

Eva Amurri talks wedding dress shopping

Eva Amurri © FlynetPictures.com
Eva Amurri has compared finding the wedding dress to finding the guy. The actress, daughter of Susan Sarandon and director Franco Amurri, is engaged to Fox Soccer Channel commentator Kyle Martino. Eva said to People Magazine, "I thought that I might like a certain one, but I wasn't really sold. Then I tried on my dress and I just fell in love with it. It's almost like dating. 'I think this is the guy,' and then you actually meet the guy and you're like, 'I don't know what I [was] thinking about that [other] guy."

Finding a wedding gown has proven to be the most difficult part of the wedding. Other wedding details have come a lot easier. "I don't labour over my decisions. Kyle and I are both like, 'Give us the three options and we'll knock it down to one.'"Eva and Kyle are usually on the same page, when it comes to decision making, "He's been a good mix of 'Do whatever you want' and 'I care.'"

Carter Oosterhouse and Amy Smart © Byron Purvis/AdMedia
Amy Smart and Carter Oosterhouse are getting married on September 10th and there's quite a lot of planning to do before that date arrives. However, Amy told Hollyscoop that her fiancé is "very hands on. He has definitely been my co-pilot with this. He has a good eye for things." Carter's good eye comes in handy, because "there's way more details than I ever expected."

The only thing Carter doesn't get to see? The dress. Amy says, "I’m getting married very soon. It's all picked out," but, "I’m not telling, I can't even tell my fiancé, I can't tell anyone else. It’' really pretty its kind of right for where we are getting married."

Amy, 35, and Carter, 34, started dating last year in November and first stepped out together in January.

Vanessa Minnillo's top 10 wedding wisdom tips

Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey © Jason Merritt/Getty
Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey got married earlier this month on Necker Island. We'll all be able to watch their wedding up close and personal in the TLC special Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding.

Vanessa, 30, has also taken to Twitter and has tweeted her top 10 wedding planning tips.

Tip1:Try on different styles of dresses. Even if u know what u want, it may surprise u. Go for it all & be girly! Most importantly, HAVE FUN

Tip 2: I Love a "little" splash of color! I had a beautiful bouquet of gloriosa's, BUT I didn't put my matron of honor in a fuchsia dress.

Tip 3: Listen to your groom & have elements of what "he" wants in the Wedding. After all, it's both of your day. Nick had great suggestions.

Tip 4: A welcome bag w/"personalized" goodies is always nice! We did beach towels w/their names embroidered, & all the beach essentials.

Tip 5: Make sure to take time before the wedding & spend it with ur fiancee. A night with a glass of wine, or a weekend away. #QualityTime

Tip 6: To save money: use venue's place settings & glassware, but we brought in our personalized linens and chargers for a more custom feel.

Tip 7:If you can, have multi-photographers. We loved Yitzhak Dalal, & he brought 2 others w/him. There's always more than one angle u want!

Tip 8: Consider weather when planning an outdoor ceremony. The ONE thing I regret is we didn't have fans or a.c. at the ceremony. #sweating

Tip 9: Do something special for ur fiancee b4 the ceremony, a gift, &/or a hand written card. Let them know how u feel & that u Love them!

Tip 10: HAVE FUN! Once it's the day of, try ur hardest not to let ANYTHING get in the way. You'll regret it if u obsess about small stuff!

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries's wedding cake tasting session

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries © RAMY PHOTO
Last Friday Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries stopped by Hansen Cakes in L.A. for a wedding cake tasting session. Kim, who recently upped her exercise regime to be in killer shape for the wedding, made time - and calories - to find the perfect cake for the big day. Mum's the word on whether or not they've found the right cake, or that they'll go back for another tasting - I know which option I'd pick - however, their tasting sure looks fun!

A source confides in US Magazine and says that Kim stopped by Mark's Garden - a high-end florist in Sherman Oaks, California - to discuss flower arrangements. Something that the source couldn't say was which designer is creating Kim's dress. Kim and sister Khloe were spotted at Vera Wang's NYC store last month, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Khloe, who wore a Vera Wang on her wedding day, has said on the topic, "I hope she does [design Kim's wedding gown too]. Just because I love her, and I feel like when you think of weddings, you think of Vera Wang. It would be a perfect fit."

When the wedding invite  that recently surfaced is authentic, we'll have to wait until August 20th in order to find out what Kim will be wearing and what wedding cake the couple chose.

Vanessa Minnillo had troubles when shopping for her wedding dress

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo © Yithzak Dalal/Hilton Media Group
Wedding dress shopping is every girl's dream, however, for Vanessa Minnillo it turned out differently then she expected. She says to People Magazine, "Normally this is something you do with your mother, and my birth mother hasn’t been in my life since I was 9. I have been okay with that up until now but for some unexplained reason, it really overtook me. I felt lost, confused and sad. It was very emotional."

Luckily she had her matron of honour, Jennifer Birmingham-Lee, to help her decide. Vanessa, 30, worked with Monique Lhuillier to find the perfect dress, but it was more difficult than that, "This was the hardest decision in the whole wedding planning … probably because I didn’t have the support of Nick. We decided everything together, even his tux. For the first time, I felt a little bit alone." When even Monique Lhuillier and Jennifer couldn't help her decide, she turned to her now-husband for support. Vanessa asked Nick, "What do you want to see me in when you marry me and I become Mrs. Lachey?" Fortunately, Nick had a helpful response ready. He said, "Something traditional with a little modern flair." Then it all became clear, "Literally the next day I went to Monique and tried on my three dresses for the zillionth time. As soon as I put it on, I knew this was it."

Kim Kardashian's wedding gown said to be "beyond gorgeous"

Kim Kardashian ©Michael Caulfield/Getty Images North America
Kim Kardashian has said that she's trying to keep her summer wedding as private as possible - private? Sure, when you disregard the cameras and realityshow -, but her friends share their thoughts on her upcoming wedding. People Magazine quotes close friend Brittny Gastineau as saying that she expects her friend to look like "a princess" on her wedding day. "Kim is so beautiful, so anything will look great." Brittny has also seen a sketch of the topsecret wedding dress, she says, "it's gorgeous. Beyond [gorgeous]. She's going to be amazing."

Friend and publicist Jonathan Cheban agrees with Brittny. People magazine quotes him as saying that lookwise he thinks that "we're going for over the top. If they're going to film [the wedding], the world is going to want to see something really exciting. It's Kim. She's not a movie star, she's not a pop star, she'a reality star that everyone's obsessed with and everyone wants to see." He adds, "To not give people a huge [wedding ceremony] for them to awe over, would almost be bad. It wouldn't be nice. I think people are expecting it. I think if it were a little elopement ceremony, people would be very disappointed."

Sounds like Kim & Co. will have a lot of planning and shopping to do for the big day, when she'll marry fiancé Kris Humphries. Brittny already said, "it's like the royal wedding", so Kim and Kris have to live up to many an expectation. Luckily, Jonathan has said that Kim is as "cool as a cucumber", so as long as there isn't too much bridezilla action, we're up for a mega tv wedding.
