Wednesday Mariska Hargitay hosted Playground Partners annual family party in Central Park, New York. Husband Peter Hermann and daughter Amaya were there to celebrate as well.
Peter and Mariska have been married for almost eight years, they were married August 28th, 2004. They met on the set of
Law and Order: SVU. The couple has three children together, August, 5, and his (adopted) siblings Amaya, 1, and Andrew, who joined the family in October 2011. At the time of
Amaya's adoption Mariska said, "I'm deliriously happy. From the minute she was born, she was just surprisingly alert and so full of love," and, "We talked a lot about mixed-race adoptin, and we are very excited that we are now a multi-racial famly. We're just so happy she's here."
