Tamara Taylor finalizes divorce

Bones star Tamara Taylor and attorney Miles Cooley finalized their divorce on Tuesday. Tamara, who plays Dr. Camille 'Cam' Saroyan on the FOX hit series, and Miles were married for almost five years. The now-exes were wed in an intimate beach ceremony in Mexico.

Tamara, 41, and Miles did not have children together. The actress' rep says that the couple will remain amicable.

Meet Maxwell Drew!

Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson chose People Magazine to publish photos of their newborn daughter Maxwell Drew. The proud parents say that "life has completely changed" after welcoming their baby girl on May 1st. Jessica says, "from how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!"

Jessica delivered daughter Maxwell via C-section, she's still recovering from the surgery. Nursing has become "a full-on job", but "it's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her. I miss holding her and having that closeness."

The magazine will feature photos of the new family (with the payment rumours swirling around - reportedly People paid $800.000 - it seems save to say that Maxwell has a great college fund).

Dean Saunders to be a dad!

Dean Saunders and his girlfriend Jamie Faber are going to be parents. Dean, 31, told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf (translation), "I'm the oldest [child] at home, but when it comes to starting a family I'm the last one. My brothers Ben and Jamie both have a four-year old child. Finally it's going to happen for us too."

Jamie, 27, is almost five months pregnant. The couple also just bought a detached house in Hoorn. It sits on 1000 square meters (almost 1/4 of an acre). The parents-to-be immediately bought a jungle gym for their child. Dean says, "It's funny how your outlook on things changes. You realize that [when the baby's here] you can't do as you please and just go somewhere, because a baby is relying on you [to be there]."

The pregnancy got of to a troublesome start. At her first ultrasound Jamie was diagnosed with a blighted ovum. This anembryonic gestation means that in very early pregnancy everything seems to develop normally, but as time progresses a visible embryo never develops. Anembryonic gestation is one of the causes of miscarriages. After Jamie was diagnosed (but didn't miscarry), she needed to make an appointment to have the blighted ovum removed. Luckily, the doctors then found a heartbeat.

Dean shot to fame when he won the third edition of Popstars on January 22nd, 2011. The day before his younger brother Ben won the first ever edition of The Voice of Holland.

Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni tie the knot!

After a three year engagement Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni are now wife & wife. Cynthia's rep told People Magazine, "On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera." No further details regarding the wedding were released.

The Sex and the City actress (we all know her as Miranda) and the education activist have been dating since 2004. In 2007 Cynthia, 46, and Christine, 45, got engaged at a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York. In February 2011 Christine gave birth to the couple's son Max Ellington.

This is Cynthia's second marriage. She has two children from her marriage to photographer Danny Mozes, 15-year old Samantha and 10-year old Charles Ezekiel.

UPDATE May 29th, 2012: The newlyweds have released their official wedding photo. Cynthia's wedding dress was a pale green Carolina Herrara gown. She had a bouquet of white peonies. Christine wore a suit with a green tie, a few shades darker than Cynthia's dress.

Proud uncle Chace Crawford tweeted a photo of his 7-week old nephew Hawkins Crawford Romo. The Gossip Girl actor tweeted, "Hawkins is sleeping, how cute :)"

Hawkins was born on April 9th, 2012, weighing 8 lbs., 8 oz./3,85 kilo's. Proud parents are Tony Romo and Candice Crawford.

Keira Knightley is engaged!

Keira Knightley said "yes". The Pirates of the Caribbean star and James Righton, boyfriend of one year, are engaged to be married. Keira's publicist Sarah Keene confirmed the news to the Associated Press.

Keira, 27, and The Klaxons musician, 28, were first spotted together in April last year. Supposedly they were introduced to each other by mutual friend Alexa Chung. No details on their wedding planning have been released.

Today the couple was spotted out and about and involving in some serious PDA (public display of affection): holding hands, cuddling and kissing. Keira also showed off her beautiful engagement ring: a thin gold band with a singular diamond. She wore another ring on her left hand as well: a Love ring by Zoe and Morgan.

Up until Friday, Keira and James have kept their relationship under wraps. They have been photographed together near their East London home, but have not graced a red carpet together. So the only photos available are 'leisure' photos of the engaged couple (something I'm usually against, but they're so cute together that it's okay for this time).

Brooke White is a mom!

Brooke White has a baby to sing songs to now. The American Idol season 7 finalist and her husband Dave Ray welcomed a daughter May 24th, in Los Angeles. The couple named their first child London.

Dave told People Magazine, "Baby London is here! Our girl came in at 6:41 p.m. and is 8 lbs., 12 oz.!" The proud papa adds that mother and daughter "are both healthy as well." The couple named their baby girl London as a nod to Dave's relatives who are all from England and specifically the London area. Perhaps even more important, Brooke, 28, loves the nickname 'Londy'.

Brooke made her acting debut last year in FOX TV movie Change of Plans. This year she continued making music. Brooke and her writing partner Jack Matranga, under the name Jack and White, will be release a new EP on May 29th called Undercover.

It's a girl for Jenna von Oy!

Actress and country singer Jenna von Oy is a mom! She and husband Brad Bratcher welcomed a baby girl on Monday, May 21st, in Nashville. The couple named their daughter Gray Audrey. She was born 4:51 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz./3.35 kilo's and she measured at 18 inches/46 centimeters long. Jenna, 35, ended up having an unexpected c-section three weeks before her due date.

Jenna, known for her roles on Blossom and The Parkers, told People Magazine, "Brad and I are, of course, ecstatic she's here and we are madly in love with her already. It's truly unimaginable how quickly she wrapped us around her little finger!" She continues, "We are exhausted, but enjoying every moment of it, as every moment she's doing something new and memorable." Aside from her own personality, she also came with a full head of hair. "She has an incredible amount of hair! So much so, that the hospital nurses washed it, brushed it, and put a bow in it on the first day! We know kids a year old who don't have half the amount of hair our daughter had at birth!"

Dutch singer Caro Emerald performed Wednesday night at the Nights in Monaco event. Nights in Monaco is a charity organisation run by Prince Albert of Monaco and former U.S. president Bill Clinton. The singer gave an interview to Dutch tv programme Shownieuws, she said that she was nervous before going on stage, but that as soon as the band starts everything falls into place and any nerves disappear. She also met and shook hands with both organisers, who both were very happy with her performance. Prince Albert thanked her for her performance and complimented her on her voice. Much to Miss Emerald's delight.

Thomas Berge in love

Dutch singer Thomas Berge (real name: Chiel Ottink) is in love. His new flame is Myrthe Mylius, who can be seen in the Net5 series Nederlandse Hollywood Vrouwen (Dutch women in Hollywood show their lives on a weekly basis on tv). Myrthe moved to Hollywood for ex-husband Ryan. She splits her time between Hollywood and the Netherlands, she has been spotted out and about with another guy after her divorce from the real estate agent, but apparently she's just as in love with Thomas as he's with her. Model and photographer Myrthe and Thomas, 22, spend a considerable amount of time with each other. Myrthe was present when Thomas was recording his new music video and last week she tweeted photos of them together at the beach.

Wednesday Mariska Hargitay hosted Playground Partners annual family party in Central Park, New York. Husband Peter Hermann and daughter Amaya were there to celebrate as well.

Peter and Mariska have been married for almost eight years, they were married August 28th, 2004. They met on the set of Law and Order: SVU. The couple has three children together, August, 5, and his (adopted) siblings Amaya, 1, and Andrew, who joined the family in October 2011. At the time of Amaya's adoption Mariska said, "I'm deliriously happy. From the minute she was born, she was just surprisingly alert and so full of love," and, "We talked a lot about mixed-race adoptin, and we are very excited that we are now a multi-racial famly. We're just so happy she's here."

Barry Gibb pays tribute to his late brother Robin

Barry Gibb has put together a video montage to honour his late brother Robin Gibb. Robin died last Sunday.  Barry, 65, posted a link to the video titled 'Bodding' on his Twitter page. Bodding was Robin Gibb's nickname. The touching tribute is a compilation of photographs spanning the Gibb's early childhood and their later successes. The first photo is of their parents' wedding.

The video, laid over the Bee Gees song 'Heart Like Mine', shows exclusive footage of all three brothers at home and on tour, spanning over 50 years in total. The video ends with Robin waving at a crowd and giving a thumbs up, then the frame freezes and fades into a picture of Robin with the text "Bodding 1949-2012".

A memorial service for the singer who died of liver and colon cancer will take place at St. Paul's Cathedral. It is said that the family is hoping that stars from the music industry will come and pay their respects in large numbers. The funeral will be held near Thame, Oxfordshire, where Robin lived with his wife Dwina.

Barry and Robin's cousin Hazel Gibb-Shacklock has requested that Robin will posthumously be knighted by Queen Elizabeth. She said, "We were pushing for Robin to be knighted in the New Year's Hounours List because we were very aware that he was ill. If anyone deserves one, it's him. All three of the Bee Gees should be knighted."

Is Megan Fox expecting a baby girl?

The rumours that Megan Fox is pregnant continue. The latest gossip is that the Transformers star and husband Brian Austin Green are expecting a daughter. According to Star Magazine a friend (I always wonder what 'friend' would spread rumours) said that Megan and Brian are "beyond thrilled" after finding out that they're going to be parents to a baby girl. "She's been helping to raise Brian's 10-year old son, Kassius [mom is Brian's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil], for years, and now she'll have the experience of being mummy to a little girl," according to the same friend. He/She added, "Obviously, Megan and Brian would be happy with a healthy baby of either gender, but they're beyond thrilled that Kassius is going to have a little sister."

Up until now Megan, 26, has kept mum on the subject of pregnancy, neither confirming or denying it. We'll know soon enough, because the source says she's due late September/early October. She is attached to a movie project [Swindle], but the script is being rewritten and filming won't start until early 2013.

Meet Adalaide Kelley!

Josh Kelley and Katherine Heigl recently announced the adoption of their second daughter. Last week the couple (finally) revealed that they named their baby girl Adalaide Marie Hope. This week Katherine, 33, has been spotted out and about with the newest addition to the family. Yesterday the actress was photographed in Beverly Hills with her mother and her youngest daughter. She allowed photographers a glimpse of her newborn. The baby girl was sound asleep as she was toted by her mother.

Adalaide was adopted domestically. She joins big sister Naleigh, who was adopted from South Korea 3 years ago. Katherine has been very vocal about adoption, "My feeling about adoption is. Why not? There's nothing about it that makes it any less meaningful of a relationship in my mind," and, "My husband and I wanted to have a baby, and to us it didn't matter how it happened. Adoption has been a part of my life and a part of my family, so it was how I wanted to start. It felt natural and right to me."

It's going to be a Guido for Snooki

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has some good news to share: she's expecting a boy. The pintsized Jersey Shore star, 24, announced on on her facebook page that she and fiancé Jionni LaValle are preparing for the arrival of a little Guido. "Can finally share the good news......we're havin' a BOY"


Pregnancy seems to agree with Snooki, who posted a photo of her clevage saying "I got swagger with my pregnant self." She also posted a photo of her in 'maternity wear', tight leggings and skyhigh wedges.

First he got a new nose, but now Josh Hutcherson got himself a new house. The star of The Hunger Games bought a residency previously owned by the late Heath Ledger. The property is known as 'the tree house' because of its wooden structure and stunning nature views.

The previous owner bought the house from Heath Ledger in 2008 and put it up for sale last year for $3 million. The house was built in 1951 on a secluded hillside location, it sits on nearly half an acre of land, and comes with a large deck area, grill and fire pit. Inside it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and vast seating areas. The beamed ceilings and brick fireplace give the home a retro feel.

Jelka van Houten to play in Fresh Meat

Dutch actress Jelka van Houten has been offered a role in the next season of the successful British comedy series Fresh Meat. The award winning series revolves around a number of students studying at the fictional Manchester Medlock University and living together in an off-campus house in Rusholme. Jelka, 34, will play a Dutch anthropology student, who moves into the shared house. The second season will be shot this summer.

Jelka's success abroad follows the success of her big sister, Carice. Carice, 35, is known for her roles in Black Book, Valkyrie and Repo Man, she currently plays Melisandre in HBO's Game of Thrones. Jillian Michaels is a mom x2!

Yesterday I wrote about Jillian Michaels' daughter, but now there's more news! The former The Biggest Loser trainer did not only adopt a 2-year old daughter from Haiti. Jillian's girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, has given birth to a son too! So now Jillian is a mom to toddler Lukensia and son Phoenix.

Jillian told People Magazine about her two year journey to adopt from Haiti and that Heidi gave birth to baby boy Phoenix the same week that she was able to bring Lukensia home. "We're swimming in babies over here." The family went from two to four in a matter of a week, but it's been great, "I don't even answer email. I don't have time to care about anything else. I want to be really present and enjoy all the nuances of their growth and development. I don't want to rush any of it."

Funny or Die parody: Fifty Shades of Blue

Fifty Shades of Grey is one of the most talked about books of 2012 so far. The book by E.L. James has been dubbed 'mommy porn'. It tells the story of college graduate Anastasia Steele and billionaire Christian Grey. Anastasia signs a contract and gives Grey complete control over her life, including experimentation with BDSM.

The people at Funny or Die saw the time right for a parody and created Fifty Shades of Blue. In the video we see Selena Gomez falling helplessly in love (or lust) with a disdainful (and dirty looking) housepainter, portrayed by The League's Nick Kroll. Compliments don't exist in the housepainter's vocabulary (telling Selena she can pick dirt out of his belly-button) and Selena's voice-over commentary is brilliant.  After the housepainter tells her to "Take a picture, it'll last longer", she thinks "He wants me to document out growing relationship." However, my personal favourite is "He showed me the inside of his van. How many other girls had he opened up to like this?"

Ashlee Simpson expanded her family. The singer, who became an aunt last month, was spotted catching a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport with her new French bulldog puppy. The white puppy was bundled up in a light blue blanket. Last week Ashlee, 27, tweeted a photo of the puppy with her son Bronx, 3. I'm wondering what she named it!

Princess Estelle of Sweden was baptised today

Princess Estelle of Sweden was baptised this afternoon in Stockholm. Princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary is the first daughter of Swedish crown princess Victoria, 34, and her husband, prince Daniel, 38. She was born February 23rd, 2012.

The godparents of Princess Estelle are her maternal uncle HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden; HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark; HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway; HRH The Prince of Orange; and her paternal aunt Mrs Anna Westling Söderblom.

Prince Willem Alexander, The Prince of Orange is a good friend of Princess Victoria, but the new parents have also chosen to continue the Dutch-Swedish tradition of godparents. Princess Juliana (later Queen Juliana) was chosen as a godmother to Prince Carl Gustaf (now King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden) in 1946; then Crown Prince Gustav Adolf (later King Gustaf VI Adolf of Sweden) was chosen as a godfather to Princess Marijke in 1947; Princess Beatrix (now Queen Beatrix) is godmother to Crown Princess Victoria; Crown Princess Victoria herself is godmother to the Prince of Orange's oldest daughter Princess Catharina-Amalia (Amalia was a flower girl at Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel's wedding); and now Prince Willem-Alexander, The Prince of Orange, is chosen as a godfather to Princess Estelle.
